Stumptown AC Signs Partnership With OrthoCarolina as Official Healthcare Provider and Local Sponsor

Charlotte Area’s Premier Healthcare Leader in Sports Medicine Joins on for Spring Season; OrthoCarolina Logo to be Featured on Home Jerseys

CHARLOTTE (June 4, 2021) – Stumptown AC of the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) has signed an agreement with OrthoCarolina Healthcare to be its Official Healthcare provider for the remainder of the spring season with continuing discussions as a long-term partner for future seasons. OrthoCarolina logo will be featured on the chest of the home jerseys, debuting tomorrow night.

The agreement between Stumptown AC and OrthoCarolina gives added exposure to one of the nation’s leading orthopedic practices and locally established healthcare system. OrthoCarolina will provide a certified, physical training professional (ATC) at all Stumptown AC training sessions, as well as at all Stumptown AC home and away matches and other events or appearances involving the team.

“Having good physical care on a daily basis for our players is of the utmost importance in keeping them all fit and prepared to play throughout the season,” says Stumptown AC Head Coach Rod Underwood. “When those inevitable injuries do occur, it is also great to know that we have a top-notch healthcare provider in OrthoCarolina as a partner to rely on to get them the care they need and ultimately to get them back on the pitch as soon as they are deemed fit again.”

In addition, Dr. Bryan Saltzman, who serves as the director of Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery at OrthoCarolina, will serve as Stumptown AC’s team doctor presiding over all medical care needs of the team.
