Beto payed his college years with Cal State Bakersfield. For his first two seasons he played midfield before switching back to defense. As a junior and senior, he was a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation second-team selection.
In 2012, Navarro was a part of Cal FC's improbable U.S. Open Cup run that saw them defeat the USL's Wilmington Hammerheads and Major League Soccer's Portland Timbers before falling to the Seattle Sounders in the fourth round.
Navarro followed coach Eric Wynalda to Atlanta to join the NASL's Atlanta Silverbacks, where he played from 2012-2014, helping the team win the 2013 Spring Championship.
Navarro returned to his native California for the 2015 USL season to join the Orange County Blues. There he started 22 matches, logging 1,926 minutes of play on OC Blues way to being crowned the Western Conference Champions.
On December 17, 2015, Navarro re-joined the NASL by signing a contract with Jacksonville Armada FC where he played the 2016 season.
After his stint in the NASL he made the move back to USL’s Orange County SC in 2017. From there he moved to Fresno FC in 2018.
